Digital marketing is the marketing of products or services using digital technologies, mainly on the internet, but also including mobile phones, display advertising and any other digital medium. Digital marketing encompasses all marketing efforts that use an electronic device or the internet.
Digital marketing has redefined the traditional way of marketing. For instance, the promotion of businesses and their products on print media, radio and television commercials, posters, bill boards, cards and many other ways. These were the predominant forms before the advent and evolution of the faster, more efficient digital channels.
